Set boundaries
Decide a spending limit and time limit before you begin. Keep money for living costs separate. A previous loss does not make the next random result more favourable, and raising stakes to recover losses increases the money at risk.
Use account controls
Look for deposit limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion through the operator and any scheme available in your jurisdiction. A calculator explains arithmetic; it cannot make a losing game profitable or guarantee recovery.
When to stop
Stop when gambling disrupts finances, relationships or daily responsibilities. Seek local professional or community support. Do not gamble while under the legal age applicable where you are.
